FAQ

What is the SVG College Sports Summit?
The SVG College Sports Summit is a professional networking event that brings together the best and brightest in college sports video production from national networks, athletic departments, broadcast schools, production companies, and more.

Attendees learn and network around topics including live event production techniques, storytelling strategies, control room technologies, future technologies, and more.

The summit also features a technology showcase floor where gear from more than 30 of the top developers in the industry will be on display.

Who runs the summit?
The SVG College Sports Summit is produced by the Sports Video Group, with the support and guidance of the SVG College Advisory Committee.

How much does it cost to attend?
Register before February 15, 2016 and pay just $50/person if you have attended the event before and $75/person if you are a first time attendee. That’s big savings over our regular rate of $150. Students attend free when accompanied by a paid professional from their university or other organization or are nominated for a SVG/NACDA College Sports Media Award.

Who attends the summit?
The college sports video production community is as diverse as it is welcoming.

The SVG College Sports Summit is an annual destination for television network production execs, production companies, athletic department administrators – especially those focused on live and post-produced video production, social media and digital production, programming, and outreach, IT, venue technology and infrastructure, and more.

What is the dress code for the summit?
Dress code is business casual. In lieu of a suit and tie, we encourage attendees to wear their organization’s colors in a polo shirt and slacks.
