Despite a young career, Nik Conklin has had a significant impact on the digital video industry. After playing collegiate soccer and developing his filmmaking skills at LIU-Brooklyn, Conklin came to Clemson University to jumpstart the athletic department’s digital video presence. His innovative use of cinematic, documentary-style filmmaking in short-form social video packages has helped Clemson blaze a path that others in the sports industry have followed. He helped spearhead an effort that generated 27M digital video views in 2015 across Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Vine and YouTube. Conklin lives in Anderson, S.C., with his wife, Charlotte, and labradoodle, Ginny.
